Image
With nearly a half-million people moving to the Lone Star State each year, Texas is near the top of the list of states with the greatest number of new residents. And a deeper look at the things residents love shows that people are moving to the state for more than just the mild winters and killer food. Here are the 10 hottest live music shows for RodeoHouston 2018

Image
For many, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is about the attractions, the midway, the animals, cowboys, and the food. However, central to all that is RodeoHouston, which will draw hundreds of thousands of attendees hoping to catch their favorite music act following the bull-riding, calf roping and chuckwagon races on the floor of the immense NRG Stadium. Is Wendy’s Smoky Mushroom Bacon Cheeseburger the best in the business?

Image
This week I reached out for a big ‘un — the Smoky Mushroom Bacon Cheeseburger — from America’s No. 3 burger flipper, Wendy’s, with 6,600 restaurants coast- to-coast, top and bottom. The bigwigs at Wendy’s asked themselves, “What will our burgers look like in 10 or 20 years?” That led to a “come to Dave Thomas” meeting at Wendy’s headquarters in Dublin, Ohio. DJ Steve Aoki spins through Houston, promising a packed party

Image
The electronic music world is a fickle industry. Maintaining success in the EDM aka electronic dance music sphere is arguably harder than any genre. Tastes change all the time, new sounds take over almost with the blink of an eye, thus, DJs come and go with the speed of a bullet train. One survivor is Los Angeles native Steve Aoki. Garth Brooks takes it to high places in epic RodeoHouston return

He said what about The Dome? Garth Brooks talks Rodeo and Houston

Garth Brooks appears downright jolly as he courts the Houston media February 27, hours before his first Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo performance since 1993. Seeming only slightly less pumped to be answering questions than he is singing in concert, he notes that his two Astrodome shows in the early ’90s pushed him towards adopting wireless microphones onstage, and, personally, represented huge strides toward following in George Strait’s footsteps. Is Your Child’s Dental Health Affecting Their Schoolwork?

Image
You often hear us talk about the importance of a healthy smile, but what does dental health neglect really look like for children? The truth is, the health of your child’s teeth and gums affects many different physical and psychological aspects of their life. Dental problems cause a lot of pain and strife not just for kids, but for parents as well. Roughly 39% of parents in United States reported missing work due to their child’s oral health issues . This does not account for scheduled pediatric dentist appointments. Scheduling far enough in advance (preferably during your child’s appointment!) gives most working parents adequate time to coordinate with their work schedules. There is a direct correlation between poor oral health and academic performance. Children who lack proper dental care suffer more in school than their peers that receive pediatric dental care. Here are a few startling facts about poor oral health and school performance. North Carolina children with poor oral
