One of Houston’s iconic restaurants has a new chef. Brennan’s of Houston announced that it has hired Matt Staph as executive chef. Staph comes to Brennan’s from Underbelly Hospitality’s restaurant One Fifth; he opened the restaurant under the direction of chef Nick Fine and served as chef de cuisine for four of its five iterations. 2 Houston suburbs land among the fastest-growing cities in America

Two of the fastest-growing spots in the nation are right in Houston’s backyard. Personal finance website WalletHub has crowned Sugar Land and Pearland among the 30 fastest-growing cities in the U.S. WalletHub published its list of America’s fastest-growing cities October 14.
