Fresh new farmers market sprouts up in popular Heights hot spot


Heights Mercantile has already become one of its neighborhood’s favorite destinations for shopping and dining, but a new initiative will combine the two. Starting Sunday, September 29, the development will host a monthly farmers market. Organized by local wellness expert Casey Barbles, the market will feature about a dozen vendors, including Urban Harvest staples like Atkinson Farm, Bread Man Bread Company, Sustainable Harvesters, and Rio Grande Organics. Houston home sales and prices saw modest increases in 2018

Homes sales in the Houston area ticked up between 2017 and 2018, a trend that spanned much of the state, according to the 2018 Texas Real Estate Year in Review report by Texas Realtors. Beloved Montrose coffee shop soars with new owner and ethical brews
