5 Houston spots wage a juicy war with this beefy burger battle


Houston loves a good chef head-to-head, but in this one, diners are the real competitors. National Burger Month kicks off May 1, and a Houston wholesaler has teamed up with five restaurants for an epic, 31-day burger war, dubbed the HTX Burger Battle. Cake & Bacon, which supplies breads, pastries, pies, viennoiserie, charcuterie, sausage and pasture-raised products to eateries across the city, is hosting the event with partner restaurants Craft Burger Food Truck’s Main Street…
