Houston society set paints a stylish picture at Michelangelo exhibit


Art lovers around the city recently gathered at Houston’s iconic Corinthian Hotel to admire the timeless art collection of Kristin Saleri, as well as the temporary exhibit on display — “Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel: The Exhibition.” The cocktail reception, appropriately called “An Evening of Celestial Majesty” hosted by Dr. and Mrs. Nansen G. Saleri, displayed original pieces by Kristin Saleri (1915-2006) that have been described as “an inexplicably harmonious fusion of Eastern mysticism and Western impressionism.”…
